About us

Pro4sport was founded in 2007 by two brothers - David and Chris Adams.  They both played professional cricket.  David played for Derbyshire and Gloucestershire.  Chris played for England, Derbyshire and then Sussex - becoming the most successful county captain ever at Sussex CCC.

They share a passion for sport and for equipment and the ethos of the company is simple – to source and provide the best sports equipment brands to sports men and women, at highly competitive prices.

We, as a team, believe that everyone should have access to the equipment used by the professionals.

We want to recreate the passion and community spirit that local sport shops used to have, but have been lost to the multi-nationals, selling sports fashions, who have taken their place. We blend that passion and community spirit with the latest technology in e-commerce, to create a sporting platform fitting of serious sports men and women.

Many of our staff are active sports men and women, covering all of the sports we advertise, giving you confidence that we share your passion and understand your needs. We also have staff who specialise in being able to give high level advice on equipment, clothing and even training regimes.

We also provide over 500 teams, clubs, schools and universities with team wear across a multitude of sports. Using our unique web-shop technology we can provide your team, club, school or university with your own unique web shop - in most instances within 7 days. Your members can then order specific chosen items and have them delivered directly to them so you don’t have to worry about holding stock, collecting money and more importantly having to distribute kit all over the place. Team wear made simple.

Whilst the company has its roots in field sports, the needs of our customers have pushed us to expand rapidly into other sports. In addition to field sports, we now also stock and sell many of the top brands for running, sailing, snow sports, base layers, bike, outdoor and eyewear.
